Failure, We Haven't Faced Till
By Bhuvanesh Arya
In our vast sky, many stories are flying,
I asked one, why we have failures in life.
"I don't know really", the teller replied
"Sorry, would you help me for a while,
Barren land, trying to give it a rhyme,
Grass fields and sounds of some rainy bites"
Another story I knocked beside,
I asked, “Are you failed? Would you tell me the reason behind?”
Whimpering, carrying the body to the grave
"Friend, he died in a fight with religion slaves
Failed, sorry, I don't know where it hails,
I just know, for our nation they never fail"
With choked voice, I woke the next one,
Yawning, stinking, he smiled to me.
"Heard, what you want to ask me,
Failure, I don't count, I take the coin or
Anger with the same bowl. I don't think twice
To things, two meals a day enough to me".
I cleared my throat and with last hope,
Trembling fingers picked the blanket off.
Glittering eyes, whispered to me,
"Failure, I haven't faced till,
I succeed when my child smiles to me,
And my wife kiss-cuddle me in.
I succeed when my friends laugh at my jokes,
And my boss points at my hidden flaws,
When my parents hug me tight every day,
How can I say 'I fail in any way' ”.
