[Fading Away]

I stand in silence, heavy heart and mind,

A world full of chaos, but I’m left behind.

A scream so loud held in my chest,

I wish to be free, to finally rest.

I just want peace, to be left alone,

Not to be hated by own family or judged by the unknown.

I gave all I had, but I’m still a ghost,

Lost in a world that I never chose.

I carry the weight, too heavy to bear,

Reaching for them but no one is there.

My thoughts are prisons, Their dreams are my chains,

I walk in circles, lost in my pains.

The world spins on, but I stand still,

Fighting battles that nobody will.

They call me strong, but strength is a lie,

When every day feels like I’m forced to die.

I stay in silence, my soul on fire,

A love that’s broken, a heart that’s tired.
