Facades

Hiding behind an "I'm fine"

Days flashing past

Persons, memories, emotions

Meaningless and lost

Seemingly bright and chirpy

But behind a stained glass

As the blanket of stars fall

Tears and loneliness are only reward

Looking in the mirror

Seeing an unknown face

Wondering "Is life really worth it?"

Tired of hearing "It's a phase"

Unnerving feeling of guilt

At that "Others have it worse than you"

Truth behind a barrier built

Avoiding another downward spiral

Let's stop for a moment

This predicament we see

Is mental health trivial?

Is it not your way to be?
