Exiled

I think I get carried away in making mistakes

fleetings aren't forevers, I realize too late

we had a glorious time

jubilant days and velvet smiles

now replaced by stone cold eyes

silence whispers in my nightmares

under my skin is a frozen fireplace

silently screaming sleepless sirens

and crawling worms in my brain's wires

they say, unlock your cage with the keys of communication

why do I only get more chained in my words then

I banish people from my kingdom

and cry how empty the streets have gotten

I stare at every water body

looking for a reflection that can assure me

I still shine and when I am ashes I run and hide

I choked to death, the only things that gave me life

now with dead trees around

I sing the lonely song

haunt the ghostly stars

and count my made up scars
