She’s exhausted

Chasing down the unknown

Running in rounds to nowhere

Reaching out to no one

Glint in her eyes long gone,

Warmth faded with timeline.

Her friends in world of their own

Spilling laughs and giggles

Little did they know

That, she’s lost

Lost in the abyss of self-loathe

That, she’s a goner.

Life’s not a fairy tale

There’s no knight in shining armor,

To save this damsel in distress

She, just gave up her faith

Gave in to her inner voices

Only she can face herself.
