Evolution of Life - Bacteria

I am bacteria.

I lived in Precambrian era.

I was a Jelly.

Without a belly.

I was the first one on Earth.

Paving the way for new birth.

I was so tiny.

Even if we are many.

You still cannot see me.

I lived in the ocean.

Fission was my way of multiplication.

People call it a reproduction.

We became a population.

And cleaned up the pollution.

What’s all the commotion?

We were the magic potion.

Did you say poison?

I cleaned them up with great poise and

No noise.

Pollution that I cleaned eons ago. Are back again to make Earth go.

I’m not the Jelly I was.

Cos, I completed my cause. Why, may you ask?

Because it was my cosmic task.

It will be a waste.

If you don’t act in haste.

My life’s work goes down the drain. I cannot rebirth again.

Will you take care?

So, earth remains fair.

Thanks, I don’t expect.

Payback, I do.
