the clandestine hour sets upon our brazen souls

as we heave a sigh and wander

through the pop pink streets

the smell of cheap booze and cigarettes wafting through our breaths

as we wake up next to each other

in a ballroom, with your hands around my waist

the taste of the last girl you kissed

still on your lips

and I smile and shriek with joy

as you come near me, with pleasure

our greedy hands finding each other in the dark

making our way through this labyrinth of poem

and as the final note of music comes near an end

my waist is dangling like a vine waiting to be held

and your fingers lace into my chest

and into the night we dance away

with the chorus of our bodies echoing the whole night.
