The moon has gone

But you stayed through my darkest hours

We danced through the night

Smoothly gliding through the clouds

The stars watch as we make our final bow

We left our mark in the skies

A mark just for you and I

Now every night I wish

On the brightest and first star of the night

That the deepest blue be forever streaked

In memories of clumsy legs and entangled hands

Laughter echoing as a relic of our thunderous love

Sounding for all eternity

So even when our ashes fade

Into stardust to create

Universes, multiply with a single breath

You and I will be memorialized

Even when memory and all cease to exist
