Eternal Cycle Of fluidity
By Manoj Mathur
We value and repeatedly revalue
All the attractive gravitating glitter
But ignore all else that surround us
And, in the process, every moment
We either enrich or cheat ourselves
With unending collection of impressions and reactions
All that seemingly manifest are nothing more than
Transient illusions and contradictions, leading to frustrations
Whether these are grains, plants, animals or even humans
All have to pass through birth, growth, decay and death
More we fulfil our desires, the more these gain strength
Sun rises daily at dawn and bids farewell in evening
To clear path for the moon and the stars
Change is the rule of survival of the universe
Days followed by nights
Seeds growing into plants yielding grains or fruits
Nothing in universe is exempt from the eternal cycle of fluidity
Our hopes, our wills and our dreams
All illusionary, like grabbing the wind
