Escaping Darkness

I am stuck in this cage of darkness,

All I need to escape is a bit of helpfulness.

I am stuck in this cage of darkness,

I am unable to escape because this world is full of curtness.

I am stuck in this cage of darkness,

This world is full of arguments and situations of absurdness.

I hope to see some bright light to escape this dreadful aspect of life,

Living life like this feels like being stabbed with a knife.

I dream of a life of joy and happiness,

But life in this world is full of ghastliness.

I pray to God for a better life,

I wonder what he will do to a human living a lowlife.
