I burnt myself the other day.

As I caressed the blister, I realised that it mirrors me.

Delicate to the touch, numb, boiling and red.

It could burst at any moment.

Flooded and overfilled with its passionate anger.

I peel the skin, layer by layer, to unravel it, to make it seem as if the process of healing has made its way, instead it strips me naked.

It makes me raw and infectious.

“Treacherous” they call me, as if I became an erupted volcano.

Ready to kill with a militant approach.
