Jealousy and envy are similar

but never the same.

These are the emotions sick to the heart, mind and soul

eating it alive

gulping down the whole,

grabbing you into the endless torture and uncontrolled sufferings.

That suffering and torture is a crossroad

leading these two different

yet similar streets.

On the path of jealousy

You will feel the colors of red

wrath and anxiety

to wrap your heart.

The road of envy

is in the shades of green

sadness and longing,

deeply running and painfully burning.

I am jealous

over what belongs to me.

But deep inside I am envious,

because we can’t have what they possess.

Once these colors,

mix together in desperation

they make an ugly color.

The ugliest color in the world.
