Encounters with another world

In 2013 I went to Mauritius to join a Bible school there. One day I came across a few men (from another religion) and I stopped to share the gospel with them. One of the men asked me from which country I was. I could see that they were very antagonistic.

I started running home. Suddenly I saw a man’s spirit in front of me. I have never experienced something like that before. He pulled his finger across his neck and said: I am going to kill you. This was the first time I was able to see into the spirit like that.

I ran home and told the lady that I stayed with about my encounter. She made it off as nothing and tried to calm me down.

That night I felt an urge to go to the KFC across the road to get something to eat. The sun was setting but I was at ease regarding the event earlier that day. I ordered a meal without a drink.

When my order came they gave me a drink as well. I said: I did not order any drink. “It is free”, the guy behind the counter said. Everybody behind the counter was looking at me and I saw one man - clearly unwilling- push the drink over to me. I didn’t make anything of it and went back to my flat across the street.

I remember drinking the ‘coke’ and thinking it was delicious.

Later that night I saw a man’s spirit above my bed. He stretched out his hand to me and said: “ sleep.” I literally felt something happening in my head. I did not realise it immediately but I was hypnotized by an astral traveler…one of the men that I had spoken to earlier that day.

I woke up the next day being in a weird state. It is difficult to describe. I had abnormal thoughts. I thought the lady I stayed with was Satan. I locked myself in the bathroom. I would imagine being in the garden of Eden with pieces from the Bible quoted to me. I remember eating a clean sanitary pad.

I went out of the bathroom and was frantic with my mind going back and forth to parts of the Bible mixed in with panic and confusion. The lady I stayed with could see something was very wrong and phoned the pastors of the church I was attending.

They came over and watched me. I repetitively took off my clothes and would just act crazy. At a stage I climbed through the window and onto the balcony of the second floor. One of the ladies that was watching me followed and stopped me in the nick of time from jumping off.

The people from my church contacted my parents in South Africa. Nobody knew what was going on with me. I was put into hospital until my dad could fly in to get me.

My parents thought that I had cracked mentally and that I was suicidal so they took me straight to a psychiatrist who prescribed very heavy pills. I don’t remember one second of my interview with her. I still was not able to tell my parents about the spiked drink and hypnotism. That’s how sedated I was.

The story doesn’t end here. The pills the doctor prescribed to me were so strong that it had opened me up to the spirit world. I literally had encounters with Satan during which he spoke to me. He would come to me while I was in the bathroom and tell me to judge my family and with whatever I would judge them would send them to hell. He was the accuser of the brethren as the Bible describes him.

He would twist scripture a lot and would say things like: “ now stop taking communion” or “don’t call on the Name of Jesus for the next seven years.”

It was absolute mental torment for my parents and I and I was so dosed from the pills that nothing made sense to my parents. Finally I told them that I was not going to take medication anymore and they accepted it.

As soon as the medicines wore off I was back to normal again. To this day nobody really believes me regarding the astral traveler, the hypnotism and meeting Satan in person.
