Embracing The Journey Ahead

My eyes had tears

Carrying the warmth of years

Times I have spent with you

Everything now seems new

Will my passion be forgotten?

My dreams got rotten

By the ill will of those who surround me

The desires that ground me

Will our connection be broken?

I know, one should not be that open

But just let me put myself on line

Tell me, will that pleasure not be mine?

I had to transverse many horizons for it

Melancholy knows that I was not a misfit

Whenever a struggle cuddled me

I took it as a blessing, you see

Will all my time just get disdain?

How can everything be in vain?

I don’t want to witness this unbearable pain

The nasty eyes were for whose gain

Again then, I have to choose that lane

Put order to whatever went insane

Gamble I am playing, could lose it all

But what awaits me on the other side

Believe me, will be worth of standing tall

Encountering all the negativity

Gruesome parts and crazy subjectivity

This is what is required

Stacking all that I acquired

For never a life of just personal gain

Did I ever desire?

Now not a moment left, to refrain

For the turmoil in me, is on fire.
