Elysium

I live in a foreign land

where the cotton candy skies and the yellow mellow woods

take away my heart

to write names of unwritten poems on them

and the fragile letters of the soft spoken winds

caress my cheeks with an indifferent familiarity

almost as if I am too young for them?

and your breath that lingers on my lips for too long

creates a symphony of stardust in my soul

and I could already feel your touch

onto my skin

with an unfamiliar gaze and lingering impression upon my skin,

I let you conquer mountains over me

as if our foreign lands aren't enough

to create war in homelands,

that don't carry your name yet.
