Hey you...

Severe acute respiratory syndrome

Forced us to stay at home!

The worst person we had ever met

Made the world sweat!

You are declared by WHO as pandemic

Which made us anxious and horrific!

You coerced the world to a lockdown

Which taught us again to knuckle down!

You touched not only the respiratory system

But also our educational system!

You are super spreading

So we started following social distancing!

You sucked all our energy

Because of our lethargy!

Compelled us to wear a three layered mask

Which is the greatest task!

You proved to be a super spreader!

Made us watch your journey like a thriller!

Your journey started from anosmia, dysgeusia, bad breath

Ending to mucormycosis and death!

I am extremely angry

So I wrote this elegy!

I'm sure now you are the trend

But soon you are going to face your end!
