Echo

He’s eyes are grey like storm clouds

That role over the sea toward the shore

They used to be ocean blue

And they’ll soon turn Amber too,

Then to brown as he matures

To adulthood

To match his elegant stance

Shoulders high

While his chin is pointed to the sky

Should he have chosen

He would have a cane by his side

with his white feathered tie

A strapping young fellow

Red waistcoat over his tie

Completely enclosed in a faded black suit

Though the yellow sock don’t match too well

He has enough swagger to pull it off

Sitting on his perch so high

always shocked when you meet his eye
