Dustbin Of Time
By Mahendra Dhirajlal Kamdar
shine for some time,
and then,
dustbin of time.
whatever you are,
wherever you are,
the final resting place,
for the rich and the poor,
for the famous and the obscure,
for the saint and the sinner,
for the blind and the seer,
the dustbin of time.
but nothing to lose heart,
over this oblivion of time.
extend your time,
from ephemeral to eternal...
shine for all the time,
as northern star in someone's life...
live for all the time,
as love in someone's heart...
beam for all the time,
as smile on someone's face...
conscience is your only guiding light,
forgiveness is your only might,
through this darkness of night,
through this infinity of time,
before you hit the dustbin of time,
earn a place in the history of time...
this is your only chance,
wake up, before it’s time,
make the best of your time here,
because after here,
you are all alone,
in voyage through this unfathomable ocean, called time,
without friends and foes,
without father and mother,
without brother and sister,
without all dichotomies of life,
beyond the concepts of good and bad,
to travel for ever, never to return,
to this window of time called life,
find here,
the best of the best,
the worst of the worst,
treating all alike,
the master of all,
the fairest of all,
mightier than the mightiest,
the only who's who,
of all the time,
the dustbin of time,
so, enjoy your stay here,
before resting,
in this vastness of space,
and this infinity of time,
the dustbin of time.
