DUALITY OF MAN.

One day The Mind grew tired of the heart’s repetitive antics that threw so many things in disarray. To that effect during the next ‘Organs-only’ meeting he called the members to attention and flared out in rebuke.

The Mind;

There you go again there you go reaching too high,reaching beyond sight, you prophesied light yet every step dulls might.

I think the end of your strength draws nigh, Even the day gives to night, I think it’s important you learn to dream within sight.

I don’t understand your desire but I know what it is to sire, consolidated passion seems like such delight, so I’d like the end of frustrations to be tonight.

I want us to move with purpose more victories and less sigh, I think it’s clear desire doesn’t equal right, I think it’s clear this isn’t your fight.

The members remained silent with many shifting their gaze to The Heart. The Heart paused in silence as the impact of the words sank in. Then the heart in turn retorted.

The Heart;

I fear my reputation isn’t what it once was, what I deem a just course unravels into ‘just cuz’, maybe I should focus on my purpose no more ‘just cause’.

My purpose… I wish I knew what my purpose was, we keep clutching losses letting things do what it does, I’m tired of leaving my desires to the gods.

You preach discorn silencing where my efforts was, you don’t understand power and that’s just how ignorance goes, for I am a wizard more powerful than the wizard of oz.

I understand that I am the difference, I am the peace where it wars, I am the missing piece where the artist draws, although I might falter and fall I will never go off-course.

The Mind;

Such colourful words from one only known for colourful blood, why even seek unity clearly we should be thanking you for even coming this far,

All you feel are your desires, your vision is crimson with blood,your speech sounds like commitment but can you even pump that far?

I agree my view is jaded from consistent failures from lines blurred, blurred by emotion blurred by affections that never last that far,

How can inconsistencies be finders of path? Why not me? The one you turn to when these inconsistencies flood,flooding indecision and doubt as though I’m Not the reason we’ve made it this far!

The Heart was silent once again, reality descended perforating belief. The members looked among themselves unsure where leadership now stood. Puncturing the silence The Heart spoke.

The Heart.

Beyond much of what you might recollect I was heir, I see all the connections they lead from here to there, everything I’ve had I share I am the reason you are there.

There is no you without me I am the reason you have air, you think you’re higher on your throne of ear and hair, you critique my methods yet without me you’d despair.

I advocate for unity that’s the reason I so willingly share, be silent and listen to my beating you will ‘hear me share’, my deductions can’t always be right help me be aware.

If you must understand me then understand the reason I don’t discard and instead repair, understand that things don’t always fit unless you change something here and there, lets aid the process rather than compare.
