Drowning All Distress

Worn out is the prisoner,

Clapped in irons for decades

By the unbidden visitor;

A raging reality, that hunted him in a hundred ways.

Caring little for the eyes to swell,

He wished not to wipe his tears,

But all despair with the secret spell

And the thrill behind her bewitching stares.

Struck by impotent agony,

He aimed at her eyes, to express,

From his, that flooded out an entire sea,

All he could to drown his distress.
