Drowning

When my vision turns to dark

and the path seems hollow.

I’m left on the deep end

but I jumped in the shallow.

Gravity seems to shift

below my feet

and I'm tumbling into the void

a complete 360.

With every passing moment

It’s gets harder to breathe,

I reach out for mercy

but my hands come back empty.

You’re the light at the end of tunnel

I try to reach for your hand,

thrashing with all my might

but it feels like my end.
