Dreams Left In Burrows

The guitar was in his hands

A gift of motivation from his dad.

He aspired to strum as good as Springsteen,

and hit the limelight

With his vocals matching every great vocalist

During his teens..

But fate put a full stop to his dreams,

His sensitive heart was in screams..

He left his dreams in burrows,

As a mismatched alliance made him plunge

Into an ocean of sorrows..

Unable to silence the strumming veins in his mind,

His lamenting soul never let his fingers strum the strings

For those songs, that still remain buried

Inside his broken heart..
