I believe that the strongest and the most powerful person is the one who dares to dream, who dares to believe that even the stupidest and lamest of his ideas can mean something. Hi there, I am Aarohi and I think it’s safe to say that I had officially lost my mind searching for ideas, staring at my blinking cursor for hours and wondering what to write on when this idea came to me and honestly—I am a hundred percent certain that I am zero percent sure of what I will end up writing so—bear with me!
By now you might have already thought of me as a crazy and chaotic person and well—I don’t disagree because I enjoy being this weird, you see— I am just an eighth grader who loves to dream, who loves to think of unbelievable possibilities and just—dream! I believe that this word alone can teach millions of people a way of living life to it’s fullest, just being themselves whether they are weird, crazy, chaotic, confused or even better, a mix of all! This word can give people a new mindset because it alone has the power to break stereotypes, change minds and help the universe evolve into temple of pure happiness. Life is too short to be anything but happy and one can only be so when that person enjoys every second of it, dreams are not what we see when we’re fast asleep—they are silent promises that we seal between us and our soul, they are the invisible wings that make us reach great heights. Dreamers can be of many kinds but I admire ‘daydreamers’ the most because these people have enough courage and are confident enough to dream with their eyes wide open—they are visionaries as in today’s generation when every person is tensed, worried, broken or just frustrated due to the their work or various other issues, these people have got enough nerve to put all their disturbing thoughts aside and simply dream, live their imaginations with a tiny smile on their face which acts as a delineation of their contentment and gratitude, this simple habit of daydreaming might look weird to others but to them, it’s just an escape, an escape from their routines which are fixed on a schedule, an escape which helps them calm their minds and relax because as professor Dumbledore said in one of my favorite books— ‘Harry Potter’ that “in dreams we enter a world that is entirely our own.”
We all have many problems that make us feel broken— one person might be struggling with rent while the second might be worried about a test or homework, someone might be scared for their UPSC exam while another might have a problem they can’t seem to share and someone might be away from home, missing their loved ones while another person might just be in a hospital, hoping to spend one more day alive— we all have our own stories, just remember to live while you’re busy surviving and be grateful for everything you’ve been blessed with, have enough courage to simply dream and have faith in yourself as the only limits in life are the ones we make. Dream fellow human, dream.
