Dream

By Akshara Harini Gande

Coffee to wake me up.

The man stirs and my heart flutters.

Golden hour has commenced and my luck strikes

as I tour the stores with my lover.

Chocolate dips on the streets of autumn

while petals of orange leaves

shower me with warmth.

Gusts of wind allow me to fly,

and the concrete road lifts me to the sky.

The season calls for me in its romantic boat,

but what must I do to live the dream I wish for ?
