Downpour

By Mohana Sreshta

The clouds of moisture shriveled against the sky, its breeze

galloping around. The volume of their roar danced in the molecules

of nature, with a grace of its own. Trees moved to the thunderous

music, leaves and branches choosing their couplets. They danced

and danced until it was the time for shower.

The tiniest of droplets picked their form into bigger ones as the

cotton balls opened the way down to Earth. They were let free,

sliding down in the most erotic manner, feeling every layer of the

nature, passing through every possibility of a hurdle, turning

denser and stronger with the minutes that left. The fragrance of

the drops that were shed, was sky wrenching, holding around the

heart, they signed a meaning of life. Miles of smiles filled with the

sound of the rain was delirious, dangerously melodic.

These innocent drops of purity stirred in the breeze of surity. It's

beauty exploding into fragments of bliss.

It was a fall to remember..
