Dopamine

An addiction so sweet, you can’t see behind the curtains.

The effects of the dream, haze like illusion.

A flick of the finger is all that I need.

A slight gesture is all that’s required to be at ease.

There’s no chase anymore, just abundance everywhere.

Just pick what you like and reach wherever you may.

Feeling so high, cannot be this normal,

feeling so low when you stop, is abnormal.

This dopamine chase seems to never end,

when you have it, you don’t,

need a bit more.

Keep scrolling and trolling,

till there’s a need no more.
