Divine Destiny
By Leo Phakhuimi Kashung
Strange is thy (love) course; sweet is thy taste
On coldest season, in distant unknown land,
the stillness of night is disturbed by roaring sea,
and the calmness of life dawn with you.
I never meant to meet a life nor do you!
Yet lives sketch a way to embrace and see-closing the darkest past; unveiling the new.
One, two year or three we roam all about and remain as a stranger.
Although we vision each other, my eyes are veiled seeing you,
and that is gone, a stranger of past.
Strange is thy course; sweet is thy taste
and destiny brew us in a cup of lifelong.
A thirst of love and a thirst of life, two souls with passion
like a fools,we complicate simplicity
but each wave we face, unraveled a blessing in disguise;
and the peace of life dawn in within and that’s the beauty-
The two of us shall be born different,
the hills and vales sets us apart
but divine destiny has intertwined together,
Like a coin of two side and there’s no separation.
High is the sky, far is the home!
Let’s walk down the road together
and see where divine destiny leads to.
