Distances Are Best Weathers
By Rabhya Gupta
A plant stand shorts in a forest
Shadows of trees protect the tender self
So tired of growing up in a lit darkness
And only rain waters for its dryness
Someday it was dug out of there
Planted in a separate daycare
It was so jolly with no prayers
Day by day, a thought got clear
Distances would've been better.
Distances aren't any bad-der
Distances are a little sadder
Distances will always be the best weather.
The flowers were pretty lovers.
Morning mists were hidden covers.
The branches were no longer.
Trunks are taller and leave older.
Missing what had grown closer
The only time distance in dolor
It wasn't jolly, even with prayers
And one thought wasn't clear (anymore)
Distances would've been better.
Distances aren't any bad-der
Distances are a little sadder
Distances will always be the best weather.
