Dileh and Rilo Build a City

By Aiden Kurian Uthup

There were two brothers. The elder brother’s name was Dileh, and the younger brother’s name was Rilo. One day, they were talking and dreaming big. They said, “We want to build our own city” They imagined a place full of tall buildings, bright lights, and happy people.

They went to their mom and told her their idea. At first, she was surprised, but then she smiled and said, “Okay, if you really want to, go ahead and try.” The brothers were so excited. Early the next morning, they started planning. They drew pictures, made maps, and even used their toy blocks to design the city.

Day by day, their dream grew bigger. They imagined the city being built in India, with shining towers, parks, and playgrounds. Finally, in their story, the city was finished. It was beautiful, full of colour.

Later, at home, Dileh and Rilo sat with their mom’s laptop, typing and drawing. They thought about what to add next, maybe a school, maybe a zoo, or maybe even a rocket station. For them, it was a place where dreams could live.

And so, the two brothers became the little builders of imagination, creating a city that only they could see, but one day, maybe the whole world would know.
