Did Liz Truss Break The Trust?

She sworn in as UK’s prime minister on 6th September,

Who was also one of the trusted Conservative Party’s member.

She succeeded Boris Johnson and defeated Rishi Sunak,

To emerge as UK’s leader and leave a good mark.

She made promises which reinstated people’s trust,

But isn’t her resignation in 45 days a breach of that trust?

Cost of living and energy crisis is prevalent in UK,

And this act of Ms. Truss is just not okay.

Even Queen Elizabeth II left for the heavenly abode two days after her appointment,

And in this hard time the people of UK need her the most, but she is leaving them with only disappointment.

All of this has made us question her leadership,

Probably because she should have taken charge with requisite support, fought the ongoing storm and sailed UK’s ship.

She couldn’t be a good leader and compromised her career,

Lis Truss will only be remembered as UK’s shortest - serving Prime Minister
