Depressed
By Sharon Elizebeth George
Speaks the air
near unseen
with despair
the far they mean,
hid himself
the fathom’s breath
a cry for help
in dark square breadth,
quench the soul’s
discerned voids
with pain that holds
the time decoyed!
The beat tranquils
the din strenous
but the grain shrills
the emptiness!
