Demons Of The Dark

Updated: Aug 21

By Mahek Prasoon Swarup

Sitting in the corner

Travelling through the past.

A short film with memories

That will forever last.

Remembering the time

When everything just went wrong.

Making it worse

Listening to a broken song.

Eyes filled with tears

Heart filled with pain.

Cursing myself the whole night

For everything just went in vain.

Showing the world

Being the happiest person ever.

Knowing depression and anxiety

Wouldn't last with me forever.

Knew it for the fact

There are many like me out there.

But still noone around

With whom I could just share.

Let's talk about it

Bring the silence to an end.

No more depression, no more anxiety,

No need for us to pretend.
