Defy Thy Fate

Amid the fury of the fate,

Beneath the brightest star,

How long wilt thou masquerade?


Bruised, but unbowed

In the darkest hours,

Sing thy hopes still aloud.





Roar! No matter how savage is the storm.

Rise to heal thy own scars

That have strengthened thy own soul.


This phase too must perish,

Sooner or later like thy spring flowers

That left thee with the trove to cherish.
