Death Comes

Death knocks on my shackling doors,

So does life peep out the crack

Refusing to let go of it

It sticks up the fury; black

I wonder if I let it in

Maybe it’s the fear of spirits.

When life shadows winds of dark

And way over edge it sparks

At the horizon of life and death

Is where the blissful infinity lies.

If ido let itn pass

I’d still be aghast

It’s not what it takes to

Be in the singular past.
