Death
By Anila Parveen
Looking at the mirror,
i see a broken beauty,
scratches popping from her interior,
her soul weeping to be free.
On the bed when she lies,
she dreams of her sins,
opening her eyes,
in hopes of repentance.
Struggling to get up,
she keeps falling even below,
asking for her end to envelope,
but the death for her seems too slow.
Losing all her hope in destiny,
she seems like a freak,
pretending to be lively,
while she barely even breath.
Pleading for forgiveness,
she prays to her lord,
asking to make her one of those,
who are in his heart are stored.
She bows her head to the ground,
falling tears are only there to be found,
with her shoulder heavy from her sins,
and her lord looking at her grins.
That night when she sleeps on her bed,
a scroll in her dreams unfolds itself as it had something to be said,
she sees herself walking towards a blinding light,
and the gates of heaven comes in her view for her invite.
