Dear Corona,

Dear Corona, you came into this world out of no where,

But now you have spread everywhere

People are scared of you,

They are being locked up if they have symptoms of flu,

They are locking themselves up and staying away,

They are avoiding the entire world to keep you at bay

They are washing themselves

And are covering themselves

With nothing else to do,

They are spending time with their families too

The leaders of the world are scared,

They are praying that their people are spared

They were busy misusing their powers just before you came,

Now, they are shivering at the very mention of your name

Angry with you, my Dear Corona, are everyone,

Because you have had your share of fun

Your haters are everywhere, manifold

But not me, for you haven’t just shaken the world,

But you have woken everyone up from their deep slumber of denial,

They are being tested during this time of tribulation and trial

They now wake up to see where they stand,

Regretting their sins that outnumber grains of sand

But now it’s too late,

They have to face their fate

You have caused havoc, I agree,

But also the good things you have done, I can see

You have brought the world to a standstill,

And stopped everyone, running like blind horses, from having their fill

Thank you for all the good you have done,

To bring humanity back to its senses, there is a need for your visits every now and then

I hope you go away soon,

But if people cross their limits again, your return will be awaited, even if it leads to our doom.
