Deaf Sky

As I stare at a godless sky,

Over blooms in their likeness indifferent,

In unfashioned existence all is awry,

Vexing thus is my mind's predicament.

Such seclusion sets the soul asunder,

In the heav'ns I look into, eyes upturned,

doth a lonely traveller too, I wonder,

See the same sky, with man unconcerned?

For eras this canvas pondered by the great,

Unchanged remains, a listless deaf slate.
