Dark Side of The Moon

Slide into my DMs

Of never ending paradoxical looping conversations of unearthed potential

9 words to encompass

Mild brain damage

A local train no. 13 takes us

In the warm summery months of june

To the dark side of the moon

Amongst incomplete tangerine trees

Coinciding with chocolate ice cream and shared spoons

Where Beatles crawl in darkened red rooms

And Chernobyl thunderstorms

Play in symphonies in the background

These orgasmic events occur with the ease, of comfortable familiarity.

In cryptic blissful ignorance

Lingering scents on pillows and oversized tshirts

Of chocolate and pineapple musk

From determined first whiskey nights to no to great red wine

To random stories about Jamun Wars and yours & mine

Hands entangled in ringlets of mad tresses

Bloody ordeals

And detailed calendar reports

Like the continual movements of the hands of a clock

Losing earrings and returning for leftovers

4ams to 8ams of truths be told

Amongst hypocrites in an self created illusionary limbo

With lost depth perception and weird doodles

My Lilith eliciting seizures of euphoric shivers and quivers

And mangled collarbones ending in platonic conversation

The lunatic in my head

Marvels at you with kaleidoscopic eyes

As we move from warm June nights to sticky and moist July.

From finding lime green checkposts to peace by your side.

I sing to dream a little dream

Where mild annoyance

Becomes minimal displeasure

A definite overindulgence of kindness

For an existential bad influence.
