Dark Light

Both showed light

Brighter at night

One takes inward flight

Other fuels bible's fight

Innocence was stripped

Sodomy encrypts

Confessions to sins in a crypt

Vocation needed a rescript

Shame burnt the soul,

Pain could hold no more

The cry went beyond gore

Brim'd evil – dead fish onshore

"Forgive me; I've sinned father"-

A light brother to another

"His voice - celibacy would falter,

My carnal blood grew hotter"

"Go in peace, turn away from sin"

Brother to another, controlling tailspin.

"You are forgiven, touch no skin.

Break the wheel, pull the linchpin".

Twilight grew, lust elucidated.

Foul actions, thoughts truncated.

Boy's youth and life castrated;

White darkness, sight captivated.

"Forgive me; I've sinned father"-

A light brother to another

"His smile - celibacy would falter

No excuses, I am the instigator"

''You inked the canvas so pure,

and kingdom of God for sure.

It's an illness with no cure

You can't lead, your light's obscure''.

"Go in peace, turn away from sin"

You are forgiven, touch no skin.

Break the wheel, pull the linchpin"

Should have been the words of the scene.

The booth echoed with glee, no guilt

Towers were crashing of the castle built

Left alone in the bed he quilt;

With lust and sin, and God atilt.

Cleansed the sin of blood with blood

Like Judas; his disciple, a flowering bud

He could not let his light flood

Stopped life with a monstrance's thud!

"Forgive me; I've sinned father"-

A light brother to yet another

"His words – Forgiveness couldn't muster

I killed him and my hands didn’t waver!"
