Dancing In The Burning Room

One step right and one step front,

Hold my arms and I’ll hold you back,

Slowly, will sway on John Mayer’s,

Ignoring the approaching fire on the stairs.

I’m lost in your smile and you in my eyes,

Our 80’s looks merrier than the Christmas surprise,

We have come so far with so many scars,

From the nights we have loved instead of counting stars.

Now it’s time that we slowdown, take a break,

Melt into each other and stay where we belong,

Not count but live every breath left in us,

Then, turn to ashes, as, now nothing can go wrong.
