If the unseen could never be divined

We surrendered all to find

A realm as wondrous as a heart's embrace

In two worlds where shadows race

For the unseen can never perceive

A bond that fate was bound to weave

It defies all reason to tread this path

For in each moment, a wish would last

And through the tumult of a tangled fate

To forfeit both our dreams and weight

To offer fragments of my essence to you

Yet once more, we remained askew

When soaring through the cosmos with you

Was all my heart yearned to pursue

Now a heartbeat drifts in solitude’s sway

To echo a rhythm that’s slipped away

Far be it from us to ever foresee

The parting whispers of destiny

So "C’est La Vie" is all my heart can say

I wish it didn’t have to close this way.
