Crowned by Thunder

When voices cut like stone,

And humanity was brushed aside,

Those-once lost and buried deep,

Now rise no longer afraid.

Deafening sounds of thunder roared,

Sent lightning across kingdoms and crowns,

The fallen rose as the echoes soared,

Restored and stood in light unbowed.

Mocked by the media,

Bound by duty, crown, and name,

Charmed countless boundless hearts,

Diana the princess, Humanity's sovereign.

Banned from his career- a fighter,

Muhammad Ali stood staunch alone,

Criticized for his values and creeds,

Yet enthroned by those who doubted him most.

Crowned by them beyond every doubt,

Kumar Sangakkara- the pride of Sri Lanka,

Bore the burden of leadership that wore him down, Through questions, critiques and watchful crowds.

In a world where men held every path of power, She broke the shackles and rivalries;

Impeached by the voices raised aloud,

Sirimavo Bandaranaike stood firm amidst the storms.

The world might hunt the fault in you,

But so did the thunders call,

Once unheard, once left to wither,

Yet- Crowned by those who once stood afar.

Though shadows veil your path,

Ahero wakes within,

When thunder calls your hidden name,

You’ll wear the long-awaited crown.
