Crimson Love

The rose flower grew,

from a tiny bud to the crimson beauty.

Beauty blossomed and vanity followed…

Contempt, hatred for the thorn,

Thorn that kept lovers away..

As the mighty wheel rolled,

The beauty paled,

Lovers of flesh didn't batter an eye,

Crimson red turned anemic pink..

Killer hands still came too near.

The thorn couldn't see,

Pallor of his love,

As the hand drew for the kil,

It painted crimson again,

As the killer bled..
