Portentous acts bore self-proclaimed “hostility”

Victimisation wrought loathing, yet a sense of pathetic pity,

And your meek whimpers, they anointed with foul-scented oils

A spurning of the very concept you sought to contrast in portrayal.

For having looked you askew, I am contrite,

Penitent for my most grievous character blight

Pardon for a partial and reductional view I entreat

For your absolution I do fervently to you beseech

Yet, to apologise unreservedly, I cannot, upon contemplation I find

For a sensing of sinister endeavours harkens to apprehension - within a second sight

‘Though upon no unfaltering ground my contemplations are rooted,

Within my befuddlement, I reckon what I feel is a lack of constitution

Perhaps we are both to be convicted – I to partiality, you to deceit

To this I hold no protest, I willingly take due responsibility

I yield to wilful reformation of my corrupting vice,

But you bear no semblance, yielding to victimisation in vindictive cries.
