Cries Of The Ancestors
By Ranajoy Adhikary
The cries of the ancestors that calls to the dreams,
That haunt and hunt bare cries of the wild,
The spirit wavers from the unflinching mind,
And the bodily escapades of the night call.
There we still had some demons left,
Fighting over souls and natural decay,
The tooths extracted from the minds of orphan thoughts,
The destinies call for a sheer eater of flesh.
I myself rode the steps of the ancestors,
Whom they called as wild and free,
But the trail then didn't look heroic,
And the spirits bared teeth at me.
Then sheltering into a wall of four,
I found solace from those wild thoughts,
Love traced me through the blood,
And washed away the sins of those fools.
