Crack

There’s a crack in my wall

It grows far and wide

So majestic, strong

Never faltering in it’s course

Full of pain, misery and love

Alike

Passion sprouting out,

from its ghastly ends

Layering on, from within

Waves upon waves

Of melancholy

Brought to life

By the great sea

Painted by Hokusai

Tinges of warm blue

Cascading within

A grey world

Clear headed but worn out

Lost, no place to call home

There’s a crack in my wall

The crack is me.
