Every heart to heart conversation begins with small talk

And a few strange ones can be enough to make you feel home.

How strangers and simply lovers are waiting.

How just mere presence and smiles shared make the wait for the bus less lonely.

And the journey that follows is therapeutic,when paired with a good listener.

Night treks with night owls during windy summers.

The only time when sounds of footsteps in the dark comfort you.

How the trail feels worthwhile when you aren't the only one taking it.

And you probably still remember the warmth, every story shared bought

Long after the bonfire was put out.

How words that kept winter at bay.

How even cheap liquor tastes great with some people.

And even the worst of songs make sense when it's not just you singing along.

Standing apart is good but,

Being surrounded by good people feels better.

How humans have the butterfly effect to them

How good company is a contagious thing.
