Confidence: The Indomitable Force

By Vibha Madabushi

So is our confidence, so is our capacity.

It has the ability to take us away from preconceived reality.

The power of confidence is a force that creates life,

it palliates when life staggers with a knife.

Confidence is knowing you are enough to win the globe,

you deserve everything, even if you were an elephant with a rope.

Confidence is not something by birth you possess,

it starts developing the moment you decide to embrace your glorious mess.

Confidence is silent,

people may conceive you are defiant.

But, know this friend, insecurities are loud,

so, it won't distinguish you from the crowd.

Believe you can, and you'll be one step ahead of most people in the race,

overconfidence will bring disgrace.

Confidence comes not from always being right, but not from fearing to be wrong,

it is the ability to carry yourself with the masked throng.

A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it; it just blooms.

Why all the wrong this mind always assumes?

So, always accessorize yourself with confidence and never leave home without it.

In all the molds of society, you will not fit.
