Colors

You see a picture; incomplete, faint,

Broken lines with unfinished paint.

Beautiful, you decide, flooding in the color,

Completing the strokes, in rosy fervour.

You step back to view, but the canvas resists,

Perfidious paint bleeding through the genesis,

Your brain understands, but your heart is in hysteresis.
