Cold Inhuman Night
By Kunal Grover
There once was a Cold Inhuman Night…
The wind fiercely blew, and so did I…
Staring right through it, the leaves fall dead
The winter magic commanded it to be shed
The trees were dried with the bark peeling off
Waters stood still and the locals running off
Dry winds forced the farm lands to go barren
No crops left to feed and farmers praying for God’s light
Cold death absorbed in the surroundings and the townsmen switched on the sirens
Some died of hunger, some lost a limb or two thanks to the cold ridden frostbites
The cycle of nature erodes…
Flowers went un bloomed and bees out of sight
The fauna evades the storms, only the wolves survive
Hungry on the left human flesh, they howl and thrive
For when the locals stole their hills, now on their scent for hunt
Irony stands right, humans are selfish cunts!
Some rich bastards surely made it to the border, their money talks
Left behind the unworthy-of-death poorer, this massacre do haunts!
My eyes gazing through the frosted window
Bloodlust of those wolves ripping them one-by-one
Tis the wrath of God, tis the doom
His rage strikes wiping the mankind— the un thankful scum!
Hear them coming, I feel their thirst
Growling for my blood are at my door
My human ego denies to give-in to their bloodlust
Brains of mine I prepare to blow
Click-Clack-Boom…
I trigger the revolver to my head
And turn to a corpse of this Doom…
